Bryan Li
Bryan Li is a Managing Director at Sailing Capital, China’s largest RMB cross boarder private equity fund and leading investment institution with support from China’s state government. Mr. Li has over 20 years of expertise in emerging markets focusing on technology, clean energy and climate change. He is also the Independent Director and Audit Committee Chairman at Yadea Holding, China’s largest two-wheeled e-bike manufacturer listed on HKSE.
Before joining Sailing Capital, Mr. Li was Executive Director and assumed roles of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Yingli Green Energy for 8 years, the world's leading vertically integrated solar power solution provider listed on NYSE.
Prior to joining Yingli, Mr. Li worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers Shanghai and New York for 11 years, providing audit and advisory services for a number of Fortune 500 companies across different industry sectors.
Mr. Li successfully led Yingli listing on the New York Stock Exchange in June 2007, completed a series of financing in excess of USD 5 billion, and consummated its sponsorship of the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and Brazil, respectively. He brings to the team rich corporate management experience and professional expertise covering accounting, investment, capital markets, corporate governace, legal, human resources, and administration.
Mr. Li has an MBA from Olin School of Business, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Institute of Technology and is a certified member of China Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was also awarded “40 business elites under 40” by Fortune in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Mr Li is based in Shanghai.
